What types of staircases are possible?

Easystair lets you design straight, quarter-turn, double quarter-turn, half-turn, spiral and Japanese staircases.

Can Easystair be used for strings and railings?

Easystair does not allow you to directly create the strings and railings of your staircase, but it offers tools to help you create them.

The creation of sectional views allows you to know the width of the steps on a defined cutting line. This allows you to draw your strings and railings easily.

The export in DXF, OBJ or STL allows to draw these elements on a 2D or 3D software.

What method is used for balancing the steps?

The balancing is calculated according to the harrow method, the most common method for balancing a staircase.
